Castelnuovo del Garda

In the Verona Province, nestled in the heart of the morainal hills among olive groves and vineyards lies the picturesque town of Castelnuovo del Garda, where the famous wine Moro del Castel is produced.

Only a small part of the village stretches to the lake, between the towns of Peschieraand Lazise, with the popular bathing spots of Lido Campanello and Lido Ronchi, particularly loved by tourists.

Several archeological excavations prove that this territory has been inhabited since Prehistory and in ancient times the town was originally called Beneventum and then Quadrivium, for its geographical position between the four cities of Verona, Mantova, Brescia and Trento.

In the 12th century it became Castrum Novum and finally Castelnuovo (Castelnuovodi Verona from 1867 and Castelnuovo del Garda since 1970).

The town is most famous among tourists for its proximity to amusement parks like Gardaland, Sea Life Aquarium and Canevaworld.

This area offers fantastic opportunities for sport lovers and for all those who want to keep in shape, such as Nordic Walking, mountain biking, tours and excursions to discover the surrounding landscapes immersed in nature.

Castelnuovo del Garda is a genuine and professional town, shyly inserted on the shore of the lake and in the Veronese inland, that with grit and determination managed to develop its touristic offer by creating excellent facilities to meet the needs of all types of guests.
